Silence. Jax sighs, hands pressing to the door as he starts to push himself back to his feet, when it opens wide and he goes tumbling backwards with a yelp. He smacks the back of his head on the floor, hissing as he rolls a bit in pain before pausing when he realizes what’s just happened and looks up.
Ribbit is standing over him. The frog looks tired, a weary smile on his face as he watches Jax. “You’ll do anything, huh?” He lets out a little huff of laughter. “Sounding a little pathetic, is crybaby Jax back in town? Miss me that much?”
