They stood together, and the clouds changed from silver to deep grey.Aragorn turned to Boromir, but Boromir didn’t look at him. The wind picked up. The trees bent with it. Summary
Five times Faramir's ability to read hearts and minds got him in to some sort of trouble, minor or major, and one time it didn't.
Split into six chapters.
1. Learning of his ability at a most inopportune time for his unprepared parents. Genre: humor/family.
2. Meeting someone he thought only existed in fairy tales. Genre: friendship.
3. Looking into the mind of an Orc as it dies. Genre: horror, but hopefully not too intense(and not gory either).
4. Searching for reassurance in all the wrong places. Genre: mild (teen) angst
5. Faramir and Denethor's strained relationship hits a boiling point. Genre: family, angst, drama

Summary
Will doesn't leave Hannibal's dinner party for his date with the Chesapeake Ripper. As a result, Hannibal alerts Will of his encephalitis that night and uses Will's recovery to explore his curiosity about friendship-- and what makes Will Graham fascinating. Hannibal's growing affinity for Will compels him to use a somewhat softer approach to influencing the man than he had originally planned, and Will isn't impervious to becoming the object of someone's affection after a lifetime of self-imposed social isolation.
TL;DR: S1 goes in a much fluffier direction as of "Sorbet." Will is Will. Hannibal is Hannibal, just a smidge closer to the man we know and love by the end of S3.

When he sniffles and still says nothing, avoiding looking her in the eyes, she decides to put it out clear and simple for him. "Do you have someone you can talk to?"
[...] Despite all of his faults, Justin is the closest thing Alex has to a friend right now, so after another moment of hesitation, he nods, much to Angelina's approval.
"Yeah." He mumbles out, picking at the hem of his cardigan, glancing at the raw cuts on the inside of his arm. He doesn't want to talk with Justin, but he thinks that if he wants to get through this, which Angelina somehow manages to convince him into wanting after every visit, he knows that he probably should. He knows that he cannot do this alone, and the thought of approaching Jessica makes him feel nauseous. The others are out of question. Justin it is then. He takes a deep breath, holding it for a second before letting it out, meeting Angelina's eyes. "Yeah, I think I do actually."
Or, Alex Standall decides to give living one last chance, and Justin Foley is a major part of that.
