Summary
Hob receives a strange letter from a woman in his dreams. On it is an address to an old manor. With her words “get him out” still ringing in his ears (and quite a bit of recklessness since he pushed away his one true friend) he decides to check it out.
Once there, Hob impulsively breaks his Stranger out of his cage. While doing so, he discovers that almost 600 years of injuries, grief, and death might just leave an impact on someone.
(Or: Hob, oblivious to the fact that he has several lifetimes worth of PTSD, is a self-sacrificing idiot, and Dream is too far out of touch with humanity to notice.)

Summary
Balinor meets Hunith and falls madly in love with her. When Ealdor experiences a terrible famine, Balinor takes it upon himself to save them. He makes an agreement with the King of the Seelie (Uther); thirty years of good harvest in exchange for Balinor's first born.
Balinor leaves Hunith with the intention of never having a child with her or any other woman. The problem? Hunith is already with child.
Twenty years later, Merlin is fulfilling Balinor's end of the bargain. He just hopes that his fey husband isn't a complete prat, and that things go smoothly.
Things do not go smoothly.
Merlin was not expecting to have to complete seven courtship challenges before being allowed to wed The Bear Prince of the Seelie. Nor was he expecting his future husband to already be in love with someone else.

Summary
Merlin and Gwaine spend their days bopping around kingdoms, performing for the masses in exchange for petty coin. Their most popular show by far is when Merlin pretends to be Dragoon; an Oracle of the Old Religion. He is in no way a Seer. Sometimes they perform for room and board, but people often give them payment for his prophecies. When a tavern owner gives Merlin a ring for payment, everything changes.
Turns out the ring was haunted by the ghost of Queen Ygraine Pendragon. Merlin may have magic, but he was not prepared for this. Now Ygraine is threatening to haunt Merlin for the rest of his life if he doesn't travel to Camelot to protect her son Arthur.
He goes to Camelot, and it turns out that Arthur is a huge pain in the ass. But he's also kind and does his best for his people, and that has Merlin and Gwaine falling for him.
If only Merlin didn't have to contend with a genocidal king and political plot involving the Kingdom of Magic.

Summary
In the year 3013, Camelot is under the strict rule of Uther and his police force of Protectors. The dystopian city is overpopulated and struggling with massive crimes despite (or possibly because of) police brutality. A gang of anarchists called the Knights certainly aren't helping things either, so Uther dispatches his only son Arthur to go undercover and take them down from the inside. However, the Knights teach Arthur the meaning of family, and with their guidance he sees Uther for what he really is: a tyrant. Oh, and he also falls in love with the dope-smoking, free-running scout named Merlin.
