“Well, mission accomplished then,” John replies. “Having to explain to the people I work with exactly why I’m taking up a bed in A&E and being wheeled about with my arse hanging out while the nurses try very hard not to laugh directly to my face—height of romance, that. Well done, you.”
“I hardly intended for it to end this way,” Sherlock argues.
“You never do.”

The demon looks down at his jumper. Okay, so it might not be the most flattering article of clothing in the world, but it sure looks a hell of a lot more comfortable than Sherlock’s two-sizes-too-small shirt.
