“That ‘dipshit’ showed up.” The promoter shot back, “You didn’t. Couldn’t even answer the phone. So yeah, I had to cover for your ass downstairs since they’re all pissed that you’re up in VIP and not even booked for tonight.”
Thanos didn’t bat an eye. Instead, he took a pull from his vape, smoke curling in the air as he slowly got up, his movement showing that he was too far gone out of his mind. His arms swayed cockily side by side as he got closer to Nam-gyu. The boy only stared up at him cautiously as the distance closed between them, his chin lifting slightly to keep eye contact.
Su-bong raised a finger and jabbed it roughly against the promoter’s chest.
“..You want me showin’ up again?” he asked lowly.
Another shove against his chest.
“Fuckin’ performin’ for everybody?”
The rapper’s head tilted lazily afterward, brown eyes heavy beneath smeared purple lighting.
“Don’t want me lettin’ you down, Nam-su?”
And then finally— “Want me answerin’ your calls now?”

Nam-gyu turns to see what’s going on.
Thanos is at the entrance. Not the full production he usually brings through the door. His two friends flank him. No girls tonight, Nam-gyu notices, and ignores the little thing in his chest that’s happy about it.
Thanos is talking to Soo-yeon with a pleasant, uncomplicated expression, like whatever he’s saying is perfectly reasonable.
“My fiancé,” Thanos says again, unhelpfully. “He works here. My Nam-gyu.”
