Summary
Nico’s awkwardness is just a part of him, Leo realises the more they hang out together.
They’re been hanging out pretty frequently since the night at the diner. They watched the McDonald’s documentary over the weekend (it was a lot more interesting than Leo would like to admit) and went ice skating after Tuesday’s lectures.
Even when they weren’t officially ‘doing anything’ , Leo found himself spending time with his new friend quite often. It wasn’t unusual to see Leo waiting for Nico outside of his classes so that they could study together or Nico stopping by at Leo’s studio with food when either of them were stressed and needed a breather.
Despite this, Nico still has his moments of awkwardness - and Leo’s started to think of them as endearing rather than weird and out of place.

He doesn’t know what to think - how to reply.
Out of all the hundreds of sappy confessions he had planned out in his head, Atsumu, sick and snotty while he pours his heart out to him wasn’t one of them. How did he know that Atsumu was being true and this wasn’t just some weird fever fueled speech? How would he know if Atsumu would even remember this when he woke up?
He still answers, helping Atsumu lay back onto the couch and brushing his bangs away. Because no matter what happens when they wake up, Kiyoomi noods Atsumu to know that he feels the same.
“Yeah,” He whispers, “We’re on a date, Atsumu.”
