Learning to love someone comes with unlearning the hate you have for yourself. This follows the marriage life of Iknae (OC/First person POV) and Rafayel as they navigate taxes, Lemurian trafficking rings, laundry, oceanic prophecies, pregnancy, and loving each other and themselves while surviving complex PTSD.
There is a lot of fluff, smut every 1-2 chapters. Can be read without reading Part 1 but not recommended. Can be read as reader-insert from first person POV.

Enid should have drowned when she fell overbroad her cruise, but in her final moments, she felt the ocean speak to her: it grants her a second chance at life in the LADs universe if she agrees to help mend the broken heart of her favorite character—Rafayel.
But Enid is depressed, fresh out of an abusive relationship, and struggling to find her self-worth in a world that constantly undermines it. Can a broken person really heal another broken person? And what about Rafayel's centuries of unrequited love for MC?
This is an introspective, smutty (Chapter 4 onwards) and very fluffy adventure about the whirl-wind romance between two broken people. There is occasional angst but no stupid miscommunication. Can be read as reader-insert from first person POV. Enid's experiences and feelings mirror my own as someone with CPTSD, but I understand it will not represent everyone's experience with trauma and depression.
