Summary
Hundreds of years ago, the Conjunction of the Spheres combined many worlds into one. Where once there was modern technology across the land, now there were wide expanses of magic and monsters winding in between which came to be known as the Wood.
Jaskier travels from his home in one of the last remaining Modern Cities to seek his Destiny in the Wood. After stumbling into a Witcher his first time out, he finds his new world to be dangerous and complicated.
