Summary
In what can only be described as a clinically inadvisable act of literary devotion, I’ve written 31 Supercorp one-shots, each based solely on the bridge of a different track from Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology. It is essentially a coping mechanism with a word count (223,000) ‘cause if I don’t transmute obsessive thought into narrative structure, I begin to fray at a molecular level.
The focus on the bridges is because that's where people tend to say what they mean. Also because I have a well-documented allergy to emotional stability and a pendant for yearning. I like to think this is what happens when you intellectualise heartbreak until it metastasises into plot.
My personal favourites (in no particular order) are the following:
- Tortured Things (Based on The Tortured Poets Department)
- The Flocking Pattern (Based on So Long, London)
- Hey Darling (Based on Fresh Out The Slammer)
- The Theory Of Almost (Based on Guilty As Sin?)
- Loss (Love) (Based on loml)
- Obsolescence (Based on Clara Bow)
- Hell Is A Pub in Vauxhall (Based on The Black Dog)
- Soft Light (Based on So High School)
- Quiet (Based on The Bolter)- Words:
- 223,000

Summary
“Hey,” Kara said, raking a hand through her hair, “I can’t stay long. Sorry.”
Drifting closer, Lena gave her a small smile, near enough that she could reach out and tug Kara forward by the front of her shirt.
“Were you out?”
“Game night,” Kara murmured with a stab of guilt.
A flicker of pain flashed in Lena’s eyes as her lips twisted wryly. “You didn’t have to come, you know.”
Removing Lena’s hand from her shirt, Kara raised it and pressed a kiss to her palm, running a thumb across the bumps and dips of her knuckles. “I wanted to. I just- they’ll expect me back soon.”
“We’ll have to make it quick then.”

Summary
When she awoke, her vision was blurry, but she could make out a form staring down at her. She blinked away the blurriness and focused on the form staring down at her… It was herself.
She furrowed her brow, confusion and fear taking over her. “W-where am I?” She asked groggily, trying to sit up but realizing that she was strapped down to whatever she was laying on.
Her doppelganger stared suspiciously at her. “You’re in LuthorCorp labs… In National City.”
Confusion swirled around in Lena’s head… LuthorCorp? That wasn’t right; she’d renamed the company years ago. She was just going to say as much when she remembered the breaching device she had been working on, and the portal she had been pulled through… This wasn’t her Earth… “What Earth am I on?” She asked.
Doppelganger Lena pulled back and nodded. “You’re on Earth 84"
Or,
Lena accidentally breaches herself to another universe after a huge fight with Kara, and she finds out just how much her life would change without Kara in it.
