They don’t talk when they’re at competitions; they never really do when their teams are together except for courteous acknowledgements of a fellow director. It’s a little maddening, he can admit, but it’s for the best, for the good of their teams. He hopes.
Or, Dongmin and Sanghyuk are directors of rival dance teams. They don't hate each other as much as they should.

Summary
Given Ilya and Shane's history, they should be able to handle a few weeks apart. So when Ilya was out with an injury and Shane needed to head back on the road, they would cope. Shane would be occupied with adjusting to his new team and Ilya would be occupied with twitter and the trials and tribulations of British Bakers.
And they would be just so normal about it. Obviously.

Summary
The Swiss National League doesn’t care about the legendary Hollander-Rozanov rivalry. When the MLH can’t negotiate with the Hockey Players’ Union in time to prevent a hockey lockout at the start of the 2015 season, the Zürich Lions jump at the chance to sign both Shane and Ilya to short-term contracts. For four months in Switzerland, they share a team, a line, a house, and a bed.
Then the lockout ends in January, and it’s time to go back. Back to different countries, cities, lives. Beds.
Reentry is harder than expected.
