Summary

Sakusa looks at Hikaru like Atsumu’s talking bullshit, but his eyes are curled at the edges in something that’s close to Suna’s face when Hikaru crawls into his lap. He pokes the adorable mole on Hikaru’s cheek and finds the audacity to say, “He’s tolerable.”

It is mid December, the day has been a grey, rainy and foggy thing, and it’s been dark for hours even though it’s only seven p.m.
Temperatures have been dropping all week, and it’s just started snowing when there’s a quiet knock at the door.Kiyoomi almost trips over his own feet in his hurry to get to it, blanket still wrapped around him, his thick fuzzy socks slippery on the wooden floor.
His eyes widen in surprise when he opens the door. On the other side of the threshold stands Miya Atsumu, eyes red and puffy, only wearing a t-shirt and a thin jacket, shaking pathetically. He glances up at Kiyoomi and looks so miserable that his own heart breaks a little.
“Omi. I-” he tries, voice breaking. “Sorry, I didn’t know where else to go.”

Starting this off by saying the end of "The Ballad of Never After" had me in tears, not happy tears, but angry, frustrated tears. So I decided to write a new ending, I know that Stephanie is planning on making another book to wrap things up but I have no patience, so here comes my plan for Evangeline and Jacks.
Evangeline Fox had never been happier she's married to her husband, been crowned Queen, and is practically living in a fairy tale, she couldn't ask for anything else. But things start to change in her happy life when a book suddenly appears along with a strange man who she no longer remembers but swore she knew at some point. Feeling as though she had forgotten a large part of her life she goes in search of her forgotten memories, will Evangeline be able to overcome this curse? Was she ever cursed, to begin with? And who is the man that smells of apples and blood that haunts her dreams?

Summary
After reading A Curse For True Love, I was happy that Jacks and Evangeline finally got a happily ever after.
However, I'd be lying if I said i didn't expect MORE from the story. I really like the worlds from both the Once Upon a Broken Heart series and the Caraval series, and I don’t want to leave them behind just yet.
So I decided to REWRITE the last book and give Evangeline and Jacks the ending i think they deserve.
The events in this story will be taking place after the ending of The Ballad of Never After. The beginning will be a bit similar to the original plot, but it will eventually change completely.
