Soyeon sobered, as she turned to face the woman.
Only to be faced with the echoed silence of the empty wing flap.
Soyeon's heart, twisted in thorns, ached for the gentleness that her songbird gave her.

Minnie cooed, lips splitting. Fingers found their way and dug immediately into Soyeon’s scalp. “Now what’s this? You’re really going to play nice for me beautiful?” She laughed, voice pitched.
Tilting her head, Soyeon stared up through her eyelashes. “Yeah… wanted to make up for… for me being a bad girl.” she muttered.
In her first year, Soyeon was left alone. And with no-one else to trust, she turns to the new professor -- a bombshell. Beautiful, older, and everything Soyeon needed.

Too soon the girl draws away, and Soyeon sighs softly as she opens her eyes again. The light from the ballroom silhouettes her, making her appear ethereal, hard to make out. And then she speaks, and Soyeon’s blood runs cold.
“My name is Song Yuqi,” she says with a knowing smile. “And don’t worry about finding me, unnie. I’ll come to you.”
