He cracked open the door to his room, slipping out quietly to avoid being caught by anyone else in such a leisurely state. It wasn’t necessarily bad... but Tamsy felt a little naked without the familiar piercing, and he licks over the empty spot subconsciously.
He walks down to the cleaner’s main hall, peeking in to see Enjin snoring openly on a chair, a cigarette tucked behind his ear and arms tucked behind his head.

He stops in front of a familiar door and presses his ear to the old wood. It’s creepy, even for him, but it would be a waste to stand there knocking when nobody is inside. But it’s his lucky day, and his heart almost soars when he hears the telltale groan of irritation coming from the other side.
He knocks, just once, and there’s a creak of a chair and soft thud of footsteps crossing from inside. Tamsy backs up, face molded into something incredibly friendly, and the door opens.

Summary
Tamsy was weird, Enjin thought. He was a mystery, with kind eyes and a soft demeanor, but there was something else. Something sinister, but no matter what he did or looked into, no signs of anything out of the ordinary arose.
And now, he was right here, pulling Enjin into him like he was his own universe, with his very own gravitational pull. Tamsy had that effect on people; he makes them want to get closer, to play with him, and toe the line of real and fake. He was a bad omen, or perhaps he wasn’t; his walls were too high to tell.

“Y’know, you could be just as much of a weirdo as I am.” The carefree voice pulled him out of his brief stupor, and Zanka squints up at him, wondering whether or not to take it as an insult.
Jabber swipes a thumb across Zanka’s bottom lip, pinching the plush skin with a light pull. His look was one of pure ecstasy, and he let out a giddy laugh.
“My, oh my, Zan-Zan. Were you not planning on telling me you were a vampire? How rude.” He whispers in awe, dragging a finger under long canines, the other boy rigid towards Jabber’s inspection.

He peers over at the man against his better judgment, interest now piqued, fighting back the tremble in his lips that would grow into a much too wide smile if left untamed. He rubs his sticky face with a long sleeve while he watches Jabber rummage through his pocket, grimacing when it gains a coppery stain, wondering if he could scrub it off before anyone else saw.
“Ta-da!” Jabber cheered, shoving a small red flower in Zanka’s view, his eyes crossing to focus on the undersized blur of red. He leans back to see it clearly, speechless as he hesitantly reaches up, fingers stopping before they could touch the stem.
