Summary
Hank awakes from a nightmare to a severe thunderstorm in darkness—not a light within sight, save for the flickering red from Connor's LED. His partner, unresponsive, cannot be shaken from whatever far away space he's found himself in. Unable to let the matter be, Hank pulls him closer, tying him back to reality as best as he can.

Summary
Androids didn't need to sleep, Connor had always used to say. They were perfect, autonomous, and efficient. However, chipping away at his mechanical stasis had revealed something marvelous. He actually could sleep, and soon, he'd caved, curling up beside his love reliably each night, wholly tuckered out. Something about the human condition had moved him, physical comfort finally allowing for genuine rest.

Barricaded in the bedroom and avoidant with no real answers, Connor won't let what's bothering him slip. With little else he can do to make the situation better, Hank knows he has to interrogate him to get to the bottom of what's got him so down—and maybe what he really wants at the end of the day.

He checks the bedroom to find him still in bed with a horrible migraine. Unable to let the matter be, he does what he can to comfort him.
