His eyes flitted around the circle of men, sparing only a moment's glance at the king before looking down at the ground with a shrug. “Haven't had mine yet.”
Arthur frowned then looked around at his men and something sunk in the pit of his stomach at the eager looks in their eyes. Merlin was none the wiser, as he turned back to the duck over the flames, that the knights of the round table were each plotting ways to be his first kiss.

Leon flushed as he put on his chainmaille and cloak. “Sometimes, every now and then,” He paused. “You?”
Merlin whipped his head to face him and stood up. “No! Goddess, no… We don’t–He doesn’t see me like that.”

ORLeon and Arthur have had a sort of agreement since they were teenagers. Somehow along the way his manservant, Merlin, ended up in the middle of it.

“As an offering of my gratitude for your loyalty and hard work, you all have a week off, relieved of all your duties, starting the moment we step foot in Camelot.”
The camp erupted with cheers and chants of Long live the king and he bit back a smile as he tried to contain their excitement. Merlin emerged from where he was perched by the fire with the pot of soup. “Does all duties include serving the king?” he asked, batting his eyes, glassy, pupils blown and lit by the fire.
Arthur couldn’t help the smile that tugged at his lips, of course Merlin wanted a day off. “Go on then."

Suho beamed. “Did you get me anything?”
“You said not to.”
“Yah, Sieun! That's just a common courtesy, you're still meant to get me something.” He shook his head, endearingly.
“But You know what I really want?” Started Suho, stepping between him and the stove. The space between them decreased astronomically. “More than anything in the world? If I tell you, will you give it to me? It doesn’t cost anything at all.”

Forty days was long enough to form this immovable, unbreakable bond, he thought. Forty days was enough for him to mean something to Sieun.

He shrugged. “I don’t know. But it’s cute, yeah? I think I look handsome.”

Must be Hyuntak, Suho thought bitterly. “I take it that’s Go Hyuntak?”
Sieun’s eyebrows furrowed a little as he put the phone down. “You know you should try getting along with him. You’ll come to find that you’re not so different.”
Suho suppressed a gag. If we’re so alike, why are you on dates with him and not me? The small voice in his head grumbled.
