She’d much rather stay with her Aunt Grace, even if it meant going to Sunday service.
But no, they, as Lestat pointed out grinning, his weirdly sharp canines glinting in the restaurant’s light: they were family. A family too long separated made whole only if she joined them.
And so, Claudia found herself forced back living in her childhood home. Bitter and angry and rigged to burn.
