"We were born sick , you heard them say it . ."
With heavy breathing, Mike looked up to Will who levitated just a few feet above him. Fresh tears pooled at the corners of his eyes, with an unsure breathing pattern. His heart beat was loud in his ears, matching with the familiar claps from the thunder outside, clearly echoing through the open church.
His lips curl inward in an attempt to hold back any tears that threatened to fall, it was stupid. All of this time he spent battling with his own feelings, preparing for this very moment. It felt like it was for nothing. The two had been sitting in the church, talking about everything and anything. And just as Mike gathered his courage, it happened. Will floated up in the silence of the church, making the distance between them further then ever.
"Will- fuck!" He shouts, hands curling up against the hem of his shirt as he nervously fiddles with the fabric. Realistically, what could he do about this. Was there anything to do? After all of this time, would he really let his feelings go unnoticed? Unwanted? As if it was wrong, like it was a sin.
