"He couldn’t remember the last time they’d been this comfortable and familiar with each other. He was loath to admit that he’d missed it. This feeling when he and Liam were just in sync and it felt like they were in each other's heads, and despite the fact they hadn’t spoken face to face for years now, he was still able to read his little brother as easily as when they were children.
The house was empty now, gone were the sound of their kids laughing and talking each other's ears off, playing catch up whilst he and Liam sat and did the same of sorts. Not exactly a heart to heart but it was a start. The beers had come out at some point, probably when the kids had left, and now they were god knows how many beers down, the football was on the telly and they were slumped in Liam’s ridiculously comfortable sofa."
Noel didn't mean to fall back into Liam's bed after reuniting with him years later but then again things never seemed to go the way he meant them to.

Jared has already suffered more losses and battled more life-threatening health issues than most people do in their entire lifetimes. He is insecure, lonely, and vulnerable, burdened with guilt and shame from his past experiences. Despite Jared’s appearance and circumstances, Jensen is inexplicably drawn to him and slowly gains his trust. This seemingly unlikely pair develops a deep, irrefutable, and undeniable bond. Together, they learn to let go, forgive, ask for, and receive help to heal. Most importantly, they learn that it only takes one person to change your whole world for the better if you follow your heart.
