“Say, didn’t you have somewhere to be? The tram just left” The girl said, instead looking directly behind Mizi’s head.
Mizi blinked dumbly, smile frozen in place. Well she felt pretty stupid now. But, huh. Right. She did.
Snapping out of her stupor, she quickly glanced at the clock conveniently hanging above the counter, and froze.
Oh she was definitely going to be late. Super late. Ivan was going to murder her.
“Oh no,” she whispered.
“Yeah, you’re fucked,” replied the girl.

Summary
Till believed Ivan died sacrificing himself for him. Ivan believed Till died in the fiery destruction of the Alien Stage.
And neither knew that the other survived.
Eight years later, Till has settled into caring for the children he'd rescued from the Alien Stage Museum with the help of the rest of the Rebellion, while Ivan continues working to fulfill what he believes would have been Till's last wish. When they're reunited, they have the chance to say everything they should have said once upon a time and to discover the mutual love that once eluded them. But only if they can overcome all the scars that mark them.

One missed paycheck away from total collapse, he finds himself desperate for a roommate to split rent with.
To top everything off, a new coworker enters his life out of the blue. Quiet, intimidating, and way too put-together to be crashing at his crappy apartment. He definitely didn’t plan to offer a room to someone he just met, but it’s just for one night, right?
Now they’re classmates, coworkers, and... roommates? If anyone finds out that they’re secretly living and working together, there’s only two words for it: social disaster.
