Sunoo makes a face. “Yuck! Don’t say that word around me Wonnie you know how it makes me feel.”
“Okay but technically in doctor terms, being able to see a surgeon regularly once a week is basically dating at that point.”
“We’re both just horny and pent-up. There’s nothing else to it.” He puts it plainly.
“I don’t know what’s worse. The fact that he’s calling you over even though he’s getting called back to the hospital or the fact that you’re willing to wait at his apartment until he comes home.”
“Now you’re making me sound desperate.”
Jungwon makes a judgmental face. “I don’t know if any dick is that good to warrant the wait.” He sighs and shakes his head disappointedly. “I can’t believe my best friend’s been dickmatized. Caught hook, line, and sinker. All because of a man!”
(or alternatively, kim sunoo gets into a friends with benefits relationship with a dr. park sunghoon and finds himself signing up for something a little more then just sex --- it's feelings.)

Then he matches with Sunny Kim, who's gorgeous, witty, and alarmingly good at making Steven flustered in public. What started as playful banters turns into swimming lessons, late-night drive-thrus, Bay Area group trips, outdoor adventures, and the unsettling realization that Steven might just be in over his head.
Or- that one fic where Cal's only straight(ish?) varsity swimmer and club hockey athlete accidentally applies for the role of “boyfriend” and gets shortlisted.
