Traditionally, the lamb is portrayed as a gentle submissive creature, associated with ritual or religious sacrifice. But sometimes, the figure of the lamb takes on two roles: as both a victim and a source of violence or sacrifice.
Or: Jimmy sees in Curly what he wants to see in him and it ends up terribly for everyone including Jimmy himself. An alternate universe where they are all tributes to the new Hunger Games.

Summary
Jimmy took the cryo-pod and convinced his rescuers of his innocence. He was lauded as a hero, and promoted to captain in a new delivery company for his bravery under dire circumstances.
Chima, a college dropout with only a vague grasp on extra-terrestrial languages, is one of his new colleagues.
Jimmy brings ghosts onto the ship, who haunt his every thought.
Unfortunately for him, Chima can see them all.

Summary
Your life was perfect in your opinion. You had the only person you needed, your elder sister. She was beautiful, smart, and the best big sister anybody could ask for. She loved you for who you were. She loved the fact that you were (unnaturally) strong, funny, and honest a pain in the ass sometimes. Hana's only flaw was the fact that she would never tell you about your parents, or if you had any siblings. Whenever the topic came up she'd make up and excuse and not talk about it again. You soon learned not to push it, so you didn't.
Your sister, Hana, and you lived on the top of a mountain, somewhere in Taishi era Japan, surrounded by vast woods. You had a cozy little house tucked away amidst all of the trees.
Ever since you were 8, Hana taught you many things to help you survive, because in this world it was just you and Hana. Nothing could happen to you and Hana, right? You'd live your life in peace, maybe one day finding love, right? Right?
