Summary
"Skate High" is an international academy that caters but is not limited to educating the world's rising professional ice skaters. It has flexible schedules for competing skaters, state of the art practice rinks, dance rooms, a contracted orchestra and composers, dorms, and a cafeteria that somehow has anything you want to eat, etc.
Yuuri has idolized Viktor Nikiforov for years. All he wants is a chance to meet him. Attending Skate High is his opportunity to be near Viktor. It's 2012. The Avengers are still becoming a family. Steve is freshly thawed, deeply repressed, and running on fumes. Tony is half-convinced his attraction to Steve is a pseudo-Freudian, psycho-sexual cosmic joke the universe is playing on him. Natasha enjoys reading them for filth far too much. Clint is a menace with a deck of cards and a popcorn bowl. Bruce is stressed. Thor is proudly in love. Nick Fury and Maria Hill are so done with all of them.There are movie nights, broken tv remotes, and shared breakfasts.
There are tabloid drama mags, invasive journalists, and talk-show ghouls.
There are sleepless nights between Steve and Tony that feel far too intimate to be nothing, and far too vague to be anything more.There's also the monthly Doombot invasion that’s less a threat to Manhattan and more Doctor Doom’s ongoing attempt to court Tony Stark.
That is until Steve tells Doctor Doom that he and Tony are already married.

It was Bruce who convinced him to move into the tower. He had called him in the middle of one of Steve’s zoning out sessions, the ringing phone nearly sending him straight through the ceiling of his cramped apartment. Bruce told him that a friend of his alerted him of Steve’s current state. Of course Bruce, the doctor/psychologist wanted to help him out. He didn’t know the half of Steve’s PTSD or any other wild things going on at the moment, but Steve knew that Bruce was right. He could sure as hell use some company.

Spock finds himself unable to look away from the way his hands contrast against Jim’s. Where his are thin-skinned and age-marked, Jim’s are exactly as Spock remembers them: beautiful and strong, kissed by a hundred different suns.
“Tell me,” Jim urges softly, his hands tightening around Spock’s.
Spock looks up after a moment, dreading what he must say next.
“It has been one hundred and nineteen years, six months and two days since you were officially listed as missing in action,” he says as gently as his Vulcan disposition allows.
The horror that unfolds across Jim’s face is, of course, inevitable.“I am sorry, Jim,” Spock apologizes in vain, “I had hoped to find you sooner.”
Or, Jim has been missing for over a century, but for him it was less than a minute. When he reappears, he discovers the galaxy has moved on without him—everyone except Spock.

Distantly, Bruce knew this was a bad idea that he was almost certainly going to regret.
That thought was gone almost as soon as it came, however, as he stumbled outside the large doors of the gala venue with his phone in hand.
OR: a heartbroken Bruce drinks a bit too much at a gala, and calls his ex to beg for another chance.
This confuses Clark, who was pretty darn sure Bruce was the one that had broken up with him, but Bruce seems to believe the opposite.
