Summary
The only thing Neil hears is his blood pumping in his ears and his shoes slapping against the pavement. His breath is coming out in short ragged bursts, half from the pace he is running and half from the anxiety still spiking in his veins. There are still too many traces of Palmetto orange for him to take a rest.

Summary
It’s comforting and frightening at the same time. He’s lived most of his life in a car watching the signs change and fade behind him but it feels different. He’s not running. He’ll be back.

Summary
“It’s a little difficult to think clearly with a knife pressed to his jugular, but Neil manages to wonder if he should’ve let the FBI send him to jail instead of here.
It makes sense, unfortunately, that after finding Neil bruised, burnt, and bleeding out on the cold cement floor of his father’s basement, Special Agent Todd Browning might have had some concerns for Neil’s health.
Neil just didn’t expect that concern to include his mental health, too.
Browning had offered Neil a choice that day - after listing out, like, fifty reasons why he thought Neil might benefit from some therapy.
Life in prison or a sixty day stay in a psych ward, followed by freedom.
Neil thought the answer was obvious, but his new roommate still hasn’t removed his blade from Neil’s throat - which Neil is now realizing isn’t actually a knife, but a razor blade taped to the butt of a toothbrush - so he’s rethinking that answer a bit.”

Summary
This is the story of Neil and Andrew post “The King’s Men” and spans 12 years. It’s about their sexual journey – every baby steps, missteps, and gigantic leaps. It is also (and perhaps more importantly) the journey of how they stay committed throughout it all, made visible in the little things, and bigger, grander gestures. Most of this is a mix of canonical facts and my own take on their future.
A few of the scenes include: the night following the championship game, Andrew allowing Neil to get him off, Neil getting fucked for the first time, the handcuffs scene, Andrew moving to a new city while Neil has to stay at Palmetto for his last year, Andrew bottoming, Nicky’s wedding, and Andrew and Neil’s public coming out far, far in the future, followed by a crazy Fox reunion.
Content warnings and trigger warnings in the notes of every chapter.
