Jason toed off his boots after locking the door to their apartment as quietly as he could. He had immediately clocked that Tim’s desk chair was noticeably empty and his computer was closed. Jason was not going to risk waking Tim up if he had willingly gone to sleep.
After showering and throwing on a pair of pajama pants he finally cracked their bedroom door open. Jason’s chest felt warm and tight at the sight of Tim sprawled over Jason’s side of the bed, face in his pillow, and with nothing on other than a pair boxers. Moonlight streaked across his pale scarred back from the partially opened window blinds.
Jason knew how lucky he was. To be here, right now, getting to see Tim in such a state. He looked gorgeous, all soft and relaxed.
Once he felt he could breathe again, he crept the rest of the way into the room and closed the door with a soft click. Tim stirred slightly at the sound and Jason padded over to his side of the bed that Tim was sprawled on. “It’s just me Tim,” he whispered as he carded a hand through Tim’s hair.
His eyes just barely flicking open with a sleepy rumble. “Jay,” Tim sighed happily, clumsily reaching for him with both arms. Jason softly smiles as bends down to gently kiss Tim’s forehead.
“You gotta scooch over if you want cuddles sweetheart. You’re kinda hogging my side of the bed,” Jason says, while Tim proceeds to pout at him.
“I’d missed you,” Tim gently complained.
“I wasn’t gone for that long,” Jason amended, feeling a little guilty that Tim had clearly wanted him to just stay in tonight.
“Don’t matter. I still missed you,” Tim said with such endearment that Jason just pushed Tim over to the other side of the bed as gently as he possibly could. Once he had enough Timless space to lay down in he grabbed a fuzzy blanket from the foot of the bed and layed down. He immediately scooped Tim up and pulled him over to his side and situated the blanket over the top of them both.
“Perfect.” Jason whispered, barely audible.
“Hmm?” Tim shifted to look at Jason, his long eyelashes visible in the moonlight that still streamed through the blinds.
“You’re perfect.” Jason smiled down at Tim who blushed and the next moment was on top of Jason’s chest and capturing his mouth. It was full of sweetness and Jason felt warm and fuzzy. Tim was everything to him, he really was perfect.
