Bakugou had been going to BeansPot Coffee for a long time. A hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in the middle of the city, the place was a wonderfully well-kept secret – and that was exactly how he liked it. Which was why he was instantly on guard when he walked in one morning to see a new face standing behind the counter.
Well, actually, first he saw his hair. Stop-sign red and styled up into spikes. Between that and the way-too-wide smile that stretched across his face, he was almost hard to look at directly.
Too goddamn bright for this early in the morning.
Or, pro-hero Ground Zero had a morning routine that he liked perfectly fine, thank you very much. That is, until a bright-eyed new barista showed up to throw a wrench in it, one caramel latte at a time.

After a tiring shift, the only thing Bakugo Katsuki wants to do is get back to UA, eat whatever leftovers have escaped Pikachu’s and Shitty Hair’s unending appetite, and sleep. Nothing more, nothing less.
So, of fucking course, that’s exactly what doesn’t happen. Instead, Katsuki finds himself turned into a fucking ghost tethered to his mourning classmates, who, in his humble fucking opinion, have taken his supposed death too hard. After all, it’s not like they even liked him, right? Right?!
Alternatively, a Quirk accident makes Katsuki go through all the feels.
