Summary
It's weird to find yourself trusting someone else to be there and not judge you and actually support you when you need it. Especially when you don't even know you need it. When you've never had that - when it's always come with a second shoe dropped - it leaves you confused and a little wary.
Or: Tim learns lots of things from his parents as a kid. But Dick Grayson is a better teacher anyway and he's going to support his little brother one hug at a time if it kills him.
Or or: Tim's love-letter to his older brother.

“Where are you going, Tim?”
Freezing, Tim blue-screened. What was he supposed to say? Luckily for him, Bruce broke the small silence himself.
“Sorry, Tim. My bad. When one of the boys is sick, I usually take the other with me to the office. You couldn’t have known this,” the man gently explained.
Tim’s eyebrows rose. Which parent willingly took their children to work?
OR: Bruce takes Tim to the office as part of a family tradition

Summary
Tim was terrified. There was no denying it. He stood in front of Jason’s apartment door, shivering and soaked to the bone, clutching his school bag. Jason was not going to be happy once he opened the door and saw him there – Tim knew that. But this was his only option.
There was no way he could go to the manor. Tim couldn’t face Bruce like this.
OR: Tim gets a "bad" grade and panics

Summary
After a brutal patrol, the Batfamily drifts together in the quiet of Wayne Manor. Dick tends to Jason’s bruises, Damian and Tim grudgingly cooperate over dinner, and, without meaning to, the brothers gather in the living room—sharing food, warmth, and silence until exhaustion folds them into one another. When Bruce finds them asleep, he keeps vigil in the chair across from them, letting the weight of peace, however fragile, rest over them all.

Summary
“–And if you don't like it –” Bruce was still yelling, his hands flat on the desk as he leaned forward. “—Then you can get the fuck out of my house!”
Bruce Wayne would never yell at one of his kids.
But Dick had never really been his kid, had he?

Fujiwhara Effect: When two tropical cyclones spinning in the same direction pass so close to each other than they begin spinning around a common center.
Or: Dick is NOT a fan of Bruce’s new kid (seriously, WHO brings home a new kid weeks after the old one moves out and then doesn’t even have the courtesy to tell – ). When he gets trapped in Gotham by an East Coast hurricane, though, he has to figure out how to be in the same room as Jason without losing it.
