Summary
Don’t kill. Don’t hurt. Be good. Be better.
Dick could practically hear Batman whispering in his ear. Urging him not to stoop this low. Telling him not to participate in the clown’s insane game. Yet Dick couldn’t bring himself to care. His brother was dead. Killed by this madman who just now threatened to hurt Tim.
His last string of restraint snapped. The clown was going to pay. Dick would make him suffer for ever touching his Little Wing.

Summary
Suddenly, Jason felt a warm hand on his forehead, probably checking for a fever. The touch erased the horrific headache he’d been enduring. Letting out a sigh of relief, Jason went limp, tipping forward right into Dick’s arms.
Somewhere in the distance, he heard his brother grunt as he caught his full weight. Jason couldn’t bring himself to care, not when Dick’s touch felt so good.

Summary
“Where are you going, Tim?”
Freezing, Tim blue-screened. What was he supposed to say? Luckily for him, Bruce broke the small silence himself.
“Sorry, Tim. My bad. When one of the boys is sick, I usually take the other with me to the office. You couldn’t have known this,” the man gently explained.
Tim’s eyebrows rose. Which parent willingly took their children to work?

Summary
“Ugh, I still don’t know what to give Bruce for his birthday, and his birthday is tomorrow! Tomorrow!”
Chewing his lip, Tim looked down at Dick and shrugged. “If it makes you feel any better, I don’t have anything yet either. But I’m also very bad with birthdays and gifts, or so I’m told.”
“Jaybird, what did you get B?” Dick turned towards Jason with pleading eyes. “What do you give a billionaire who already has everything? Usually, there are one or two things he mentions he needs, but this year there’s just... nothing. Nothing!”

Summary
Pulling his legs to his chest, Tim slammed his fist onto the keyboard angrily, stifling a sob as tears flooded his eyes. Why wasn’t this working? Why was nothing working today? Tim gasped for air as he hugged his legs, trying earnestly not to break down and cry. He wasn’t a kid, for fuck’s sake. He was a Drake at that. Drakes didn’t cry.
“Baby Bird?”
In his emotional turmoil, Tim had somehow not heard Jason ride into the Cave on his bike. Useless. Why couldn’t he do better? He was supposed to be Robin!
For a second, he tried to tell Jason to go away. To leave him alone just like everybody else had in his life. Instead of that, a loud sob escaped his treacherous mouth. Not even his mouth liked him…

Summary
He had been living the dream. And then his parents returned, and within a week, Tim was back at Drake Manor, hating every second of it. His parents certainly weren’t making the transition any easier; their constant harping and nitpicking were slowly driving him up a wall.
Sitting in the back seat of one of the family’s fancy cars, Tim let out a quiet sigh. Of course, the first thing his parents would do after returning to Gotham was to drag him to a gala. After all, to them, his only purpose was to be shown off as the perfect son and heir.

Summary
“Master Dick, Master Jason, may I ask a favor of you both? I just received a call from Master Tim’s school. The principal wishes to speak to Master Bruce, but as he is unavailable, I’d kindly ask you two to go and see what the commotion is about,” Alfred said calmly.
Nodding, Dick rose from his chair. “Jason and I will head over and talk to the principal. No worries, Alfie.”

Summary
Groaning, Jason rubbed his eyes and cracked one open. As soon as he did, his pulse quickened. Something was off. This wasn’t his room. His walls weren’t painted navy blue, and he definitely didn’t have movie posters scattered across them. His initial panic settled into a strange confusion as he looked around more carefully. Why the hell was he in Dick’s room?

Summary
“Come on, Little Wing! This’ll be fun. And it’s for the Alley kids, remember?”
“That has nothing to do with the fucking fact that you want me to wear this bullshit,” Jason snapped back, lifting the gaudy Santa Claus costume out of its plastic packaging like it might bite him.

Summary
Wait. Had he actually fallen asleep?
His eyes snapped open just in time to realize Jason was carrying him—his leather jacket now draped over Tim’s shoulders—as he strode toward the Batmobile.
“... Jason?” Tim yawned, his voice small and embarrassed. “What about the stakeout?”
Jason’s voice was soft, the modulator switched off. “Don’t worry about it, Timmers. We’re getting you home.”

Summary
“How do I bond with Drake? I wish to acquire his… allegiance.”
Akhi looked taken aback for a moment before a slow smirk spread across his face. That never meant anything good.
“Treat him like your regular street cat.”
Damian blinked. Then blinked again.
“…Excuse me?” He eventually asked, unsure whether this was a joke or not.
Todd barked out a laugh before elaborating. “You know those ragged, gnarled street cats you oh-so-like to rescue, brat? Treat him the same way.”

Summary
"Looks like we’ve caught ourselves a lil' birdie, boys."
Dick let out a sob and rasped, "No, please. Stop..."
The goons only laughed cruelly. But before they could go any further, a gunshot was heard.
"The fuck do you rats think yer doin'!" came a voice booming from the alleyway entrance.
Two-Face. Shit.
