Ace groaned as he sat up in his bed in the infirmary, trying to process how he got there, to begin with. As soon as he remembered what had happened his eyes shot open. How long had he been out? This hadn’t been part of his plan. A frown crossed his face as he looked at Deuce, who was still unconscious. He hadn’t expected Styx to come in so violently. But even the best-crafted plans had elements you couldn’t control and he’d had to roll with it. Something Ace Trappola knew all too well.
Sparing not another glance to his friend, he sped out of the infirmary. Not a care to who’d seen him or the nurses that tried to stop him. If everything was going right, then it wouldn’t matter anymore.

Deuce was trying to be a good kid, he really was. He slipped up sometimes, letting his old delinquent personality leak out, and he wasn't proud of it, since he was honestly doing his best to not only pretend to be an honor student, but to actually become one.
However, as if this journey of personal growth wasn't difficult enough, Deuce still had one, no, actually two small problems.
First: Deuce was a little (just a little, okay) into Ace, his roommate/classmate/friend and almost full-time companion.
Second: Ace seemed to like Deuce too (victory!) But apparently, he particularly liked Deuce's delinquent side.
You know, the side he was precisely trying to avoid.
And that, of course, was a big problem for Deuce, who wanted to do things right for a change.Or

Summary
Floyd loved surprises. He loved being spontaneous and loved to see things that he didn’t everyday. That included what he did with Ace on dates. Ace never knew that he was going to get whenever they went out, but he enjoyed every moment of them, despite his acts that he didn’t enjoy never knowing how to plan for the events.

It takes real guts for someone to stand in front of Leona asking for shredded fur, even more so when the same one had stood unembarrassed at Diasonmia's porch in the hopes that Malleus Draconia just happened to have a spare childhood album lying somewhere.
