Summary
Mike loves Will more than anything. Will doesn't believe he deserves it. That has always been a burden that Will carries with him everyday, waking up next to him, being able to touch and hold him whenever he wants. And he knows Mike means well, which is why he doesn't have the heart to be mad. As they walk toward their bikes, Will glances up at the sky and makes a quiet wish he hasn’t made out loud since he was little.

Summary
Over the past few weeks, the already murky line between friends and something more with Mike and Will has been further blurred. They’re stuck in a sort of limbo, and have been for some time. The thing is, Mike has been aware of his feelings. Will has been, too. They just don't do anything about it, and both have their own reasons to justify this static place in their relationship.
However, their relationship is progressing anyway, even without intention, or some label. Maybe it’s because sleeping in the same room is so intimate, or maybe it’s simply going to the place it needs to be. In any case, things are changing, and progressing, whether they like it, or not. They're closer now than ever.
Or: After Mike finds out about Will's sleeping issues, he invites Will to start sleeping in his room. This becomes routine, and over the course of their freshman year of college, their relationship progresses into something romantic.

Summary
Will Byers, Zombie Boy, Vecna's Spy. Will holds as many titles as he does secrets. His secrets plague his thoughts, and he can only imagine the kinds of titles he'd recieve if they were to be revealed.
Will Byers, Homo Freak, Vecna's Toy.
It'd be worse than coming back from the dead and being a spy for evil. He'd be something wrong, dirty, used. These secrets can never come to light, which means Will needs to pack it all up and forget. Which is harder than it sounds.
It's been years. Years and Will has been successful in his attempts to keep it all quiet. And yet, after Vecna's attack on Hawkins, Will is unable to take his mind off of the old memories he thought he'd locked away.
Mike is the only problem, really. He's too nosy for his own good, and too observant when he shouldn't be. And as luck would have it, Will is found by Mike when he's deep in a memory.
Shit's being drawn to the surface, and Will doesn't know how to stop the pot from boiling over. He can only hope that when it all spills out, he won't be getting burnt.

Summary
After Will Byers returns to Hawkins after living in California for five years, his life turns upside down. Going back to his past life — a life he thought was long gone — comes with great struggle Will tries to convince everyone (himself included) it’s just some seasonal depression that’s going to wear off once fall is over.
Turns out it’s anything but a seasonal depression, as Will begins to feel like he’s going insane — feeling like he’s haunted by the ghost of his past, struggling to eat anything as food looks like poison, and with a good night’s sleep becoming a thing of the past.
And it certainly doesn’t help that Mike Wheeler keeps staring at him from across the hallway like a creep. He keeps staring instead of talking to Will, instead of making things right after ghosting him years ago.
Because despite once being inseparable, now Will sees Mike as nothing but a cowardly stranger, who didn’t have the guts to write him one last letter saying he didn’t want to keep in touch anymore. Or at least that’s Will’s point of view.
TW. viewer discretion is advised, this work is a tough read that gets emotional and violent at times. please stop reading if it is too much for you.
