Summary
When she finally came in, it was a clear and sunny day. Nothing at all like someone would expect. Blonde hair, smile lines all around her eyes. She seemed almost afraid of being here. Worried about what could happen to herself. Aizawa introduced her with a long-winded speech that he clearly hadn’t written out himself. Something about how every hero was required to meet up with her before acquiring their permanent license to guarantee they wouldn’t be a liability on the field should they be confronted with their fears. All in all sound logic, if a little strange considering what their class had already gone through in their by now almost complete high school careers. Katsuki didn’t even catch her name before he drifted off. He only came back to the class discussion once one of the extras asked a question. “So what your saying is that her quirk will let her manifest our greatest fear or regret, so we have to physically confront them?”

He faltered when he saw the sight in the hallway because Kacchan was not alone.
Next to him stood the second user.
Other than the ropy scar over the bridge of second's nose and the different colour schemes they had going on--they were identical: down to the spiky hair, crossed forearms and perpetual scowls.
Izuku slammed the door shut and climbed back into his bed as explosions went off in the hallway.
It was way too early to deal with that.Deku has seven ghosts living in his head rent-free and he is going to make it everyone else's problem.

Katsuki can do nothing but blink up at them for moments that feel like an eternity, eyes darting between both his parents in obvious confusion, disbelief, and, more than anything, indignation.
"What the fuck are you two talking about? The damn nerd is standing right beside you!"During a battle, Midoriya gets hit by a villain whose quirk detaches his soul from his body. Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.
Alternatively: Deku and Kacchan are soulbound.
