Changed Lives: Ch-Ch-Changes

Fics in which characters' lives are significantly changed, but where hints &/or aspects of their original lives/universes can still be seen;
(Usually mostly (but not quite) civilian.)
- significant backstory changes (to one or more characters) that basically create a new world
- (historical) major character death, & its fallout
- (quite a few) Talon
- Physiological changes (wings, transformations, etc) that have more than a surface-level impact
- Occasional multiverse
