(Mostly short (series of) fics exploring various potential consequences for canon events/actions;
:What-if scenarios, rather than proper divergence
:Unseen moments, that could plausibly have happened between/alongside what was known/shown to have occurred
:Actions have consequences (either short-term, or liable to affect the characters, but not the (wider) plot)
:(Occasionally major consequences that would derail the entire plot/world; e.g. major character death)
:Consequences come to light (some time) after the fact - either canon compliant, or somewhat vague canon relevance (but not actively contradictory)
