I think this might be the very best mpreg fic I have read in any fandom. Excellent fic. Fantastic writing that pulls you in immediately, and utterly gripping plot. Derek is starts out as rather a dick to Stiles, but he of course eventually comes around and makes up for it in spades. Slow burn.

Just as good as the original Misfire, and so very smart, mature and realistic about the sorts of challenges that this Derek and this Stiles would face given the whole time-travel fuckery thing from part I. It's not all wine and roses, but at the same time, you know how much they want this to work. It makes so much sense that Stiles referring to past Derek as "my Derek" would hurt this Derek so much, and yet it also makes sense that Stiles is grieving for his lost mate and needs to share memories of him.

Honestly, I'm usually not into body swap fics, but this one just really works. It's not that they find their own selves attractive so much as Derek's wolf's instincts are telling Stiles things he didn't know before, and now can't resist.
