The story begins in summer 1998, where everyone who returns to Hogwarts must complete an extended eighth year. The condition for all involved is at least 30 sessions of Ministry-mandated therapy.

Make (Build Vol. III) begins approximately 2-3 years after graduation (the canonical time needed for the Auror training programme). The characters are in their early twenties now. Draco and Hermione are in an established, mostly healthy, loving relationship.
The Build Back Better legislation is about to be pushed forward by the Wizengamot. While rebuilding the Love Room, the last of the Second Wizarding War veteran cohort came of age and the UK Magical population census data shows a marked decline. Minister Shacklebolt is adamant that peace requires sacrifice.
What will become of Draco and Hermione who are caught in the crosshairs of political upheaval and a resistant-to-change Pureblood society?
