But Kojiro is leaving, his flight boards in less than an hour, and he still has to get through security. And Kaoru knows how much this would mean to Kojiro, but he can’t tell him because Kojiro deserves this opportunity, and Kaoru wasn’t going to stand in his way.

Summary
Kaoru didn’t allow anyone to touch his hair, he didn’t like it, and therefore he didn’t allow it. However, like everything else in his life, Kojiro was the exception. Whatever boundaries Kaoru forced out and created for the outside world were nonexistent in regards to Kojro. Kojiro had always been special, and thus he was the only one who was ever allowed, even encouraged, to touch Kaoru’s hair.
