Summary
Louisa and James Elliot have a loveless marriage, which is perfectly fine. They produced a daughter, which, despite many claims, they actually care for, even entertaining her weird obsession with putting corpse hair on her drones...but sometimes they get urges. And Louisa was always curious about what those drones could do, so when she catches Tessa's newest pet project walking around when she wasn't supposed to well she could punish it in any way she wants to. And if she gets some stress relief from it then all the better!
She didn't plan on catching feelings for the drone.
Neither did Cyn, except to learn how to love from the least likely person.
Aka Cyn gets seduced, Tessa learns that she and her mother share something in common and gets promptly traumatized and The Solver of the Absolute Fabric regrets everything! And that's just first few chapters!

The Absolute’s infection should’ve stripped him of all higher functions beyond that of his enthrallment. No manner of injury or exhaustion should keep him from attacking her. Yet, here he was, touching his face with a confused look that seemed all too human for Uzi’s taste. Vampires especially craved the look of what they once were, even if they no longer saw humans as anything more than cattle to feed on.
“Can you…can you see me?” Uzi asked tentatively, still breathing hard from the fight.
“I can see you…?” the vampire responded in loose lucidity.
“Holy shit it talks,” Uzi deadpanned incredulously. “You have to be fucking kidding me.”
“Sorry,” he slurred, his eyes closing again sleepily, “You’re bleeding.”

Uzi had been doing well enough on her own for years now. She'd learned through heartache and betrayal that nothing good had come from her vulnerability. She didn’t need anyone, but when she comes crashing home with a vampire in tow, Uzi is forced to come to terms with the fact that sometimes…she needs help too.
Besides, if he were easy to kill, she’d have done it already, but something in him refuses to die, and for that they are alike.

Earth was falling, everyone knew that the moment the sun was eclipsed and nations began to fall one by one to Cyn’s murderous pets. Every tool and trick in humanity’s arsenal has failed to stem the tide, super weapons rendered null in the face of the Absolute Solver. Desperation led to the creation of long begotten war machines, a last ditch effort to stave off oblivion. Ethics discarded in favor of self preservation, these horrific machines were assembled by the thousands.
Amongst these man made horrors, these very affronts to God, there was one machine forged with a singular purpose, entrusted with the task of avenging humanity and ending the nightmare that was the Absolute Solver.
Thus, with humanity’s last dying breath, this Supreme Machine was unleashed upon the world.
We could only pray for God’s forgiveness in that same, feeble breath.

An AU from my Triple-C AU, coming from the third chapter of Synergistic Limited-Liability Consolidated asking “What if Kahn didn’t panic in the hardware store, and Nori was able to start the plot like 16 years early with all the knowledge she had?” No previous knowledge is required from the other fics to understand this one, but I do recommend SLLC as a good place to start for more context.

Damn, depression in a bottle with this sorry. But holy hell this is so fucking good. Latest chapter at time of this bookmark is 49? I think. Yeah 49. Don’t know if I’ll be able to read this chapter by chapter though, the story is to sad. Summary below for when future me comes back in a year and doesn’t re-read the entire fic.
Uzi sees through V’s eyes and the two become friends and fall in love. Cyn is a little bitch and abuses the fuck out of V. V gets space cancer and starts dying, the spire gang try and help V but to no avail. Eventually V goes to Cyn hoping that she’ll kill her which she doesn’t, she ends up committing suicide. N gets mad at Uzi for brining the railing to the right. J gets hella drunk off diesel after V’s death. Uzi doesn’t cope well.
