Summary
Sephiroth faces an unforeseen predicament while at the front lines in the war against Wutai. There is a mysterious baby in his tent, one with startling similarities to himself in fact. Thus begins the upheaval of everything Sephiroth thought he knew about the world and himself as the infant throws him straight into the chaotic jaws of parenthood.
Elsewhere, after the events of Advent Children, a new conflict arises and threatens everything Cloud Strife had built for himself and all that he holds dear. Despite being unable to win the fight, Gaia refuses to let her Champion fall under the weight of this threat. Her Champion, although reluctant to accept the form of her aid and its price, does not refuse the mission given to him by the Planet. He will set things right, one last time.
Meanwhile, everyone else is wondering how to retain their sanity as the Silver General decides to adopt a baby despite having no experience in parenthood or childcare, in the middle of a war by the way, and an enhanced man of unknown origins is dead set on being an ecoterrorist with a vendetta.
Otherwise known as: Sephiroth adopts a baby and it becomes everybody's problem, especially Cloud's.

Cloud's ma was wrong. He wasn't obsessed with Sephiroth. He didn't have a crush (ew). Sephiroth was just objectively the coolest kid in town - and yeah, he never left that weird old manor, and his dad was a greasy rat, and he had a propensity for staring at Cloud like he could make lasers come out of his eyes. But that was all part of the Sephiroth experience! It was fine! Cloud would be fine.
Thanks to a wish granted by the lifestream, Cloud is born in 1984, two years earlier than he should be. Sephiroth is being raised in secret within the walls of Shinra Manor by Hojo and a handful of Shrina employees, and Cloud (age eleven) is a willful magnet for trouble.

Their daughter was special, so unlike many kids her age, and therefore left them with more questions than answers when it came to her overall existence.
They couldn’t help but wonder—would the lifestream see her the same way?

He thinks he would traverse time and space, go to the ends of the universe and back in this lifetime and the next just to sit with her quietly, like this, and listen to her talk about nothing and everything for the rest of forever.And before he can stop himself, the words spill out.

Or, Tifa doesn’t know how to feel about Sephiroth’s (a.k.a her sworn enemy’s) child living under the same roof as her and the rest of the gang, so things don’t go too well when she’s put on babysitting duty.

Cloud Strife has been dealing with a plethora of emotions for the past two years ever since the planet narrowly survived the meteor incident. Even still, his brain continues to fabricate images of Sephiroth—so much that his body will physically react to the thought of him and force him down a spiral of pain and pleasure simultaneously.
Or, in simpler terms, Cloud is really going through it and his brain’s way of coping is by having him participate in slightly non-con, half-psychological sex with Sephiroth.
And he gets knocked up because of it.
