After Veronica Sawyer stopped Jason “J.D.” Dean from blowing up Westerburg High, as a way for Heather McNamara, Martha Dunnstock and Veronica to cool off steam, a trip to the fun fair in Sherwood, Ohio was arranged. What they didn’t know was that Heather Duke had arranged a trip on the very same week, and on Tuesday, October 31st, 1989, these four girls boarded the Cyclone roller coaster at 4:42pm. At 4:44pm, the front axle of the Cyclone broke, causing it to derail at the very top of the roller coaster, sending them to their deaths. When they awaken, a mysterious fortune teller dubbed ‘Karnak’ forces them to tell their stories for a chance to return to the life that they had once lived.
