No, the voice in his head resembling Mycroft insisted. You should have told him how you felt before the jump. Before the jump. Before the jump. He was always too late.
“John, repeat after me. I, John.”
“I, John.” His voice was steady, despite the tears threatening to spill over. He cleared his throat and smiled.
“Take thee, Mary.”
“Take thee, Sherlock.”
Silence. John's eyes widened in horror.
“Mary.”---
