What is Time?
It’s a prominent question that continues to breach in his mind like a parasite. He heard Mori mention it once, but he’s never figured out what the word means.
Someone had brought him to this room just now. Why? To train, of course! He’s Mori’s Doll- a perfect toy.
His head hurts. What is pain? He shouldn’t be feeling it. Dolls don’t feel pain with their porcelain skin and wooden eyes.
Someone tells him to shut off. Automatically, like a button being pressed, his head hangs down like a tree.
He does the only thing he can do- shut off.

Pity. The door swung open a few minutes later revealing a slim man wearing a white coat. He had warm eyes and a pleasant smile. Dazai was instructed to sit upon a raised bed in the corner of the room, when he sat, the thin plastic lining crinkled beneath him. The boy felt a sense of unease wash over him when he noticed the look Dr. Ogai was giving him. The man’s eyes were cloudy and his face had an expression Dazai had never seen before.

13 years later after the Grear War, Don Quixote was assassinated, leaving a terrible possibly that a war between Yokohama and Manchegan Bloodfiends would happen. However, seeing this as a golden opportunity, Mori Ougai - the Port Mafia Boss, decided to send out one of his subordinates to infiltrate the Bloodfiends' domain - the famous amusement park known as La Manchaland.
