Summary
It wasn’t anything unusual for Charles to have dreams involving his students. Those little boys and girls were like his own sons and daughters and it was entirely innocent, dreaming about teaching them or seeing them outside of school in a grocery store or park. After all, they seemed to be in his mind all the time. It was no wonder their presence carried over.
But this was entirely different. Sure, two of his students were involved in the dream—Pietro and Wanda were definitely there—however, he was not the sole focus of the dream. No, that place belonged to two other, who were not any of Charles’s students but were Pietro and Wanda’s parents.

It had seemed like a good idea at the time. After all, Erik knew well that there was someone who had caught both of their eyes and he was sure they had done the same to said other person.
But, what he didn’t expect from polyamory was the way he was going to feel to see Charles with someone else.
The emotion wasn’t exactly jealousy—though he had expected it to have been—that didn’t feel how he felt. Perhaps inadequacy would be a better word for it.

Initially reluctant, Erik agrees to go along with his wife to an omega facility, where they meet Charles Xavier; a formerly free omega who's been put into state care against his will.
In Charles, Erik and Magda see a chance to finally start the family they've been dreaming of.
