Levi was sitting out on the balcony of their apartment, sipping a cup of tea and listening in on Gabi and Falco’s conversation. He cleared his throat, informing the two they were not as quiet as they thought. The glass door to the balcony was open, allowing Levi to hear every “whisper” the two exchanged. If you could call that whispering.
Levi, however, would never admit to being nervous about his husband returning from another post war business trip, but that did not mean he wasn't.

There was a soft breeze in the early morning hours, which swept an all-to-familiar odour of the stables and cut grass. A slightly unpleasant but comforting scent nonetheless. His presence here meant he was safe, free. From the titans, the nightmares of his past, expeditions beyond the walls, Hange's overbearing existence reminding him the world was still full of idiots.
Levi sighed.If only he knew this wouldn't last.

Now begrudgingly enlisted in the scouts after the deaths of Isabel and Furlan, Levi has become increasingly agitated, his regretful thoughts adding fuel to the fire. Pitted against the calculated, calm commander he was initially sent to kill, Levi finds himself in an entirely new world of hurt.
This is for Boys Love readers who really enjoy the moments of tension. The chin hold, neck licking kind of vibe. That’s what I’m aiming for. This is an ongoing work. ^.^
