Mizuki hates being unable to see the world in colour. They believe themselves to be good at colour picking though, even if it had its drawbacks of not truly being able to see what exactly #c6c3ce was exactly when they dressed for their day to day life or if #E4A8CA was a pretty enough colour to be their favourite.
It also meant Rui could wear clashing colours if he wanted too without them complaining because all they could do was read the basic descriptions and see what people did when the two of them walked around in tandem. This would lead to him being their ‘tragedy clown’ and an ‘utter embarrassment who was a waste of a good pair of eyes!’
Grey was nice but awfully dull, until they meet Shinonome Ena and they truly had a valid reason to throw up looking at Rui’s outfits before realising what exactly happened as they stared at the pretty brunette. Their heart thumping, their hands sweating, their stomach twisting and their legs running.
They hated grey yet they still accepted it with open arms, when that safety was gone so were there and trouble ensues.

Maybe it seemed like a shame how much Ena liked Mizuki, when it was all meaningless in the long run. Eventually she would find her soulmate, and move on as if it had never happened.
And yet, that thought was the only thing keeping her sane.
A soulmate was a safeguard. She didn't need to worry about her feelings for Mizuki, about how they weren't reciprocated, about how they would never work out and she would be alone forever. Because one day, she would meet her soulmate, and they'd sweep her off her feet and make her forget all about her crush and prove she was lovable after all. A guarantee that she was needed. That she was wanted.
That someone out there was destined to love her unconditionally, a thought that comforted her even in her worst moments. That's what a soulmate was. And as soon as she met them, all her problems would go away.
So why did Mizuki seem so against them?

Shinonome Ena was an angel from Heaven. Let's just say her fascination grew too much and down she fell outside of Akiyama Mizuki's shitty, shared apartment with Nene and An. Now, she must navigate life with three humans and one of them for all extensive purposes is a 'heretic' who just does not believe in God. She also needs to evaluate if everything was worth it now talentless and in a cruel harsh world. But she can do it, she knows she can.

Do not read if you don't like religion at all because this story literally centres on it, hinges on it really. Very based in Catholicism because reasons.

Eventually, fans begin to file out of the MMJ venue. Strangely, the Shinonome’s stay in the venue until the majority of people have left. Ena just gestures to the two to follow her, the four turning to a different hallway from the main exit.
Mizuki admits that curiosity is building.
Eventually the four reach a door, closer to backstage than the entrance of the venue. Ena knocks on the door and announces that it’s her before Mizuki can stop the brunette. Isn’t this like a staff entrance? Maybe Ena’s little sister worked at the venue?
The door opens excitedly and Mizuki tries not to squeal in delight. Out bursts More More Jump!’s Minori, dressed in casual clothes with a wide grin on her face. Mizuki can hear Rui suck in a breath upon seeing the idol as well.
“Sis!” Minori cheers, as she launches into a hug with the siblings. “You came!”
Wait...Sis?
