After the events of the Hunter Expansion's OE bad end, Ringo awakens in the muddy fields near NSH's retaining wall. Now a creature of hunger and Rot, they are barely aware, but still retains a semblance of self. Though they aren't entirely sure who that self was.

Brimstone was kinda ass in my opinion, I just made it because I wanted to fit in with the fandom. Now I'm going to do what I wanted to do in the first place. A story about isolation, the horrors of the world, and the pure evil within it. Consider this a complete remake/rework of Brimstone to fit more with my own vision. I will not filter myself anymore, hopefully that's fine with everyone. This first chapter is a test for the vibe and world I want to show off, and don't worry, still a similar time period as Brimstone! That's one thing from it I actually liked. Also I haven't posted because I didn't have a PC up until now and got sick of typing on my phone all damned day. Anyways, I hope whoever is still subbed to me enjoys this, because I am actually having fun for once! Future chapters will be far longer. Yes I like Fear & Hunger. Also do recommend additional tags in comments in case I miss something.
Real Summary: Spearmaster gets in a fight with a familiar friend, blood will fly, maybe.

The first time Hunter felt the small bumps on the side of their neck, they assumed it was some sort of bug bite, or side effect from something else they had done that cycle. They hesitated, checking their internal map, before realizing that they probably wouldn't make it to the next shelter anyways, and it might be easier to just reset. Dying was painful, but maybe it was better than letting whatever this was continue to stay on their skin.
They assumed that it would be gone when they woke up at the beginning of the cycle again.
It wasn't. But it was bigger.
