I am only a couple chapters in so the upload schedule may slow eventually, but I plan om writing new chapters while uploading the already existing ones.
I have had the idea of combining of drawing parallels between Voltron and Arcane for a while. Its in the world of Voltron, but altered with similar events of arcane. Here is a hint:

Two years ago, the former Paladins of Voltron went missing. As if they disappeared from this universe itself.
People from all stretches of the universe searched, and after two years, there wasn't so much as a log with their names on it. Every lead was a dead end, every rumor of hearing about them false, and the remnants of the old Galran Empire is trying to rise from the ashes amidst all of this, getting worse and worse.
It didn't surprise anyone. Even before the Paladin's disappearance, these remaining traces of the Empire seemingly refused to die out like the embers they were. But recently, someone had stoked the flames, and this Phoenix of an empire was letting those flames grow bigger and hotter and angrier than before, even with the strange reappearance of the lions of Voltron.

It was the stretch of non-existent limbs beyond the physical capabilities, it was water filled lungs, it was inhuman laughter. It was the fear of death, in the corner of her eyes, stalking low on it's haunches, waiting. But It wouldn't catch her. No, Pidge would escape. She was going to save everyone even if she died trying.

Honestly, the universe must really hate it's defenders.
No, dropping them three years into the future when everyone thinks they're dead wasn't enough. No, Pidge getting beat up (extremely mildly) and then invoking the parental distress of every single person she's now stuck with for the next year wasn't enough. No, the general reality of the shitstorm that is the past few months (years) wasn't enough.
And of course, No, Pidge ending up as the only one left--after a galra raid manages to imprison legitimately everyone currently on their intergalactic roadtrip--because she went to go get fucking tree sap isn't going to be enough either.
Le oof. Le sigh.
So really, there's only one thing for Pidge to do here.
She's about to go all Taken on these fuckers.
And she's gonna do it in the most chaotic way possible.

Keith lands his lion, and races towards the Galra base that’s actively sending out reinforcements to attack the other Paladins. Normally they would send Pidge, but she didn’t think her lion could take off again if she landed. They couldn’t risk that, so here Keith is, hoping his lion’s barrier will protect it from harm. He keeps going, and reaches the base without anyone seeing him.
He slips inside, and immediately stabs the first and only guard by the inside of the door. He catches the body, and gently places him against the floor. He peeks around the corner to see only a few more guards since most of them are on the offensive. Keith sticks close to the wall, then pushes the button to close the hangar. He then smashes it, and races away. He heads to the control center, which he can see above the hangar.
