He looked so small, so human. It was unlike the Mephone he was used to on the show, the forced bravado, the constant jokes, the bragging.

After a moment, he deflates. “So... any tech-savvy contestants here that could take a potentially volatile and definitely fragile egg out of my system without hurting me or the egg?” he asks, giving the gathered contestants an awkward grin and decidedly not looking at Test Tube’s body.
