Mizrak keeps his gaze off the deplorable creature. “It was a momentary lapse of judgement. It shall not happen again.”
The vampire, Olrox, nods thoughtfully, and Mizrak can sense the sarcasm in that gesture.
“What a shame,” Olrox mutters. His bright, jewel-green eyes lower, gaze settling on Mizrak’s lips. “Perhaps I could convince you?”

When his fraternity decides to seal their bond with matching tattoos, he meets the fascinating owner of the tattoo shop: Olrox has only been a vampire for 10-15 years and is struggling with the consequences of his decision, his traumatic past, and the loss of his lover. Soon, Mizrak and Olrox find themselves in the shadows of different dark forces that they can only face together—and possibly with the help of friends and enemies alike."I get into a lot of religious myth and it does get very long! I don't get inspired so frequently, but this cast of characters really grabbed me! I wanted to play with them for a while!
