Summary
It has been 20 years and a half since the bro zone bros left the tree, since all trolls left the tree. Half a year since the bergans became friends with the trolls. And a few months since the troll kingdoms reunited. JD believed his whole tribe had been killed. With the news of queen poppy saving the day, he decided to follow the trail back to pop village. Sadly he doesn’t find any of his brothers there, so he and a few extra tagalongs go on a mission to find his brothers and reunite the family. He has an idea of where Bruce and Floyd are, but not a word of clay or branch. Ignoring Peppy’s warning that clay and branch were most likely lost in the collapse.

As Branch's story ends
We learn why Viva was worried for Branch, why she had the idea that Branch wasn't willing in being with Poppy.
Viva has a history she wasn't willing to admit, she would rather keep the idea the disappearances were foolish mistakes, and Clay would always be by her side to make sure the Putt Putt trolls new and old would never suffer.
We learn why Clay is quick to offer Branch and Tresillo a place in Putt Putt village, why he would stand with his Uccellino and mate over his older brothers, why he doesn't tolerate Alpha's forcing their will over omegas.
He understood why Tresillo call Branch his mate, and why Branch begged him to get Tresillo to forget him. His heart broke for them, and why he made it his personal mission to get them back together.

Summary
It's about where the older generation was eaten by the Bergens and the pop-trolling children were the only ones who survived. Poppy is now a Child Emperor. It happened too fast. Poppy last saw his father, King Peppy, and he threw Branch into Poppy's arms and left them. He doesn't understand what happened, but the children are looking at him and Branch. They needed him. He knows he needs to protect them all. Poppy was holding Branch, confused. Не sees all the children with him, some young, some older. There are even babies laying on the ground.
DJ Suki, Ablaze, Boom, Hype, Creek, and Trickie, six of the kids, want to help, as well as the young teenagers do, and Poppy doesn't mind at all. He just knows they need to get away from Bergentown.
How can children survive without adults? Will they going to be alright? All of them children and nowhere near capable of surviving by themselves. But maybe, just maybe, they can learn to adapt and survive on their own. After all, it's a new world they have to explore. Who knows what they could find?
