Inko Midoriya has had a rough year with Izuku shattering his bones with his newly awakened quirk, but her true low point in her year was when she had heard the awful news of Katsuki Bakugou's kidnapping by villains and her son was put in a coma during the camping trip fighting a muscle-bound murderer who was one of the villains who was there to Kidnap Bakugou. When she sees her son in the hospital room her quirk starts to act up...
Even though Izuku regained consciousness Inko's quirk started to act up ever since.

Izuku pushed himself off the floor. Even though he couldn't tell what was going on with the white-haired boy, there was a sting in his heart when he saw him hold Plush Might like that. He needed to save the hero from those hands. This boy was no fan of All Might. He was an enemy. “Give him back,” Izuku demanded. “I saw him first!”
When he turned to look at him, the older boy swayed his head around like it wasn't properly affixed to his neck. “Aw, if you want him back so badly, why don't you come and get him?” His strange, wrong, mad grin widened by a touch.
------------------------Or: Toshinori accompanies Inko and Izuku to the mall, continues to bond with the family he has sworn to keep from harm, and metaphorically re-lives the worst day of his life at the hands of the next Symbol of Fear.

when quirks first arrived in the human genome, people were reasonably scared. but as time moved on, so did people, but what didn't move on was that human instinct that caused you to be afraid of something dangerous. being treated like a living nuke that could go off at any second was hard for Dylan, and feeling like you need to hide your true power from the world was hard for Izumi, and both lived in a world that would see them as monsters.
