There clear as day "Glass. Lead. Paper. Paint. Tea." He read the words aloud like a list of offenses. The paper crumpled slowly in his fist similarly to the way these new acts squeezed at his heart. How could Arthur not understand?? His jaw tensed. He stared out toward the docks where British ships sat proud and still—too many, always too many. Their flags rippled like smug reminders. How could Arthur not see- advocate for things like this when so many were trying to communicate the damages these taxes were causing his people?!
He looked down at his boots, scuffed and muddied from the roads that wove between Boston, Concord, and even back down toward Providence. The same roads he’d taken to listen at Liberty Tree, to quietly post letters to Washington—carefully worded ones, of course. "Maybe they think I’ll just wear out. That I’ll stop pushing back. But I’m not some child you can just order around anymore…”Or

Summary
When founding father, and first Secretary of Treasury, Alexander Hamilton wakes up from the dead, he finds that he is in the year 2024. He reconnects with old friends and even enemies, trying to explore and learn a new world, a developed country, and his odd popularity.
Paragraph from Chapter 1:
When Hamilton came in, it was a great hall, but barely with any people. There was one man in a white suit at the front. "Mr. Hamilton!" The man in the white suit's voice echoed. Hamilton approached him, and his desk. "Take a seat." The man said. "Of course." Hamilton replied. As Hamilton took a seat, his head turned to all of the beautiful artwork within the building. "Why am I here?" Hamilton asked in a serious tone. The man in the white suit stayed silent for a moment, and then finally spoked. "I don't know." He answered honestly. There was a small period of silence for a moment, until the man spoke again. "Mr. Hamilton, I would like to welcome you, to the year 2024." -

Summary
Seven years of a routined royal schedule was distilled into (F/N)'s mind. Seven years of the King's behaviors and abuses were imprinted into the younger man's conscious, though it didn't make any of it easier. Seven years was he held with George, and the war had just now ended.
American forces would negotiate terms of service, and just like that the boy was escorted out of Buckingham one Sunday morning. A new life would be started after losing everything, yet hope turned sour as (F/N) truly recognized his reality.

Summary
The last time the representative of British America and the West British Indies²⁵ - who went by his alias Alfred F. Jones¹ around humans - was in Boston, it was during the Boston Massacre. He could remember the pain from it. It wasn't the worst pain he'd ever felt, but the principle of it made it far worse than it was; he and most Patriots² strongly believed the Redcoats had no right to shoot - though Alfred would be the first to admit that the newspapers were a bit... exaggerated (he didn't quite want to use the "p" word³, it felt wrong). But, in 1773, he was in Boston for a very different reason. Alfred Jones had had a feeling. He couldn't explain it. But it beckoned him to go to Boston. Also, the letter from Samuel Addams asking him to come contributed as well. So he did. He knew the British Empire would have likely reprimanded him for that, but what wouldn't he have reprimanded him for?
